Review: Ant-Man & The Wasp (2018) - Marvel Legends Cull Obsidian Wave Ant-Man & The Wasp

I didn't get to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp in theaters for the reason that I hadn't watched Ant-Man so I was able to watch it once it was available on Hulu. I loved Ant-Man and I thought Ant-Man and the Wasp was alright, not great, not bad. There were some things about it that rubbed me the wrong way such as pacing and the ending, especially the ending. I did enjoy seeing Evangeline Lilly kick butt as Hope Pym. She also rocks a ponytail, I love it! Also Paul Rudd is still so incredibly funny in this one, the magic scene was one of my favorite parts of the film. I do like these figures but honestly the Figuarts look so much nicer but this is what I can afford (I could afford the Figuarts if I didn't get any Legends period...). Still, these aren't bad and they get the job done.

Review: Avengers: Infinity War - Marvel Legends Falcon & Winter Soldier Two Pack (Target Exclusive)

This is the other 2-pack that was supposed to have a Stan Lee Build-a-Figure along with the Black Panther Erik Killmonger and Agent Ross Everett 2-pack I reviewed a while ago. This was pretty tough to find, I thought this would be a lot easier to find compared to the one with the unmasked Erik Killmonger... I was wrong, very wrong. I hunted for this set in person when it was on clearance but I didn't have any luck. I just kept finding more Eriks and no Bucky and Sam. I caved and got the set for $37 which was $3 less than the full price. And even then I got a faulty Sam, he had two right shoulders! I had to get another one from Ebay loose because I didn't want to buy another whole set.

Review: Marvel Stud10s - Captain America: Civil War (2016) - Marvel Legends The First Ten Years Captain America // Crossbones

Two more sets to go, this being one of them. This was supposed to go up Thursday night but... I watched Endgame instead and it was worth it. Then it was postponed to Friday night... but I forgot to bring my laptop to Washington D.C. so I'm writing it now! No spoilers but I will say that it was an amazing film. As for Captain America: Civil War, I loved that movie as well, it was the only movie from the MCU at the time that I actually wanted to watch in theaters, there was a reason for that. It was Spider-Man and I ended up watching after it came out on DVD.

Review: Avengers: Infinity War - Marvel Legends Thor // Rocket Raccoon // Groot 3-Pack (Toys R Us Exclusive)

This is one of my favorite sets, Two out of 3 figures in this set are new and they help me recreate scenes from the movie which is always a bonus in my book. I had to get this through Amazon because Toys R Us is no longer a thing. I got this for about $33 which was good considering it was also twice that amount a couple weeks earlier. Either way, it was way cheaper than the Vision and Scarlet Witch set...

Review: Avengers: Infinity War - Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 50 // Spider-Man (Iron Spider) // Thanos (BAF)

So getting some of these figures was a pain, I saw Iron Spidey at FYE for about $27 which was a no from me but seeing how much he was online I decided to go get it but it wasn't there anymore so I resorted to buying it online for $28. Iron Man Mark 50 wasn't that hard to get but I paid about $20ish which isn't bad. Building Thanos was pretty satisfying, seeing the Mad Titan in plastic form was very much worth it. We'll talk about the big guy later, let's get started.

Review: Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - Thanos Build-a-Figure wave Captain America (Nomad) and Midnight Proxima

So moving on from recent figures, I was planning on getting the Infinity War Thanos Build-a-Figure wave as it came out... of course, that didn't happen. I did get them recently and it was quite a hunt. Cap, Songbird, Serpent Society, and Midnight Proxima through a set which was about $64, a good deal! Especially since Cap by himself was about $50 plus! Well, after getting the set I find another cap at Target (and Taskmaster which I bought for $37!) because they were re-releasing the waves! Ugh! Still, I did buy another Cap for... reasons.

Review: Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - Marvel Legends Loki and Corvus Glaive Walmart Exclusive 2-pack

So this was one of the last figures that I needed for my Infinity War Collection, there will be spoilers throughout in the form of pictures so I'm warning you. This set is based off of the first scenes in the film. Thanos and his crew have destroyed and killed the Asgardian ship and its people. Thanos wants to get the tesseract in order to get the Space Stone. I loved that movie by the way, I watched all of the other Marvel movies I hadn't watch just to watch Avengers: Infinity War and I do have tickets for Avengers: Endgame for this Thursday, I can't wait!

Review: Marvel Stud10s - Ant-Man (2015) - Marvel Legends The First Ten Years Ant-Man // Yellowjacket

I wasn't expecting much from Ant-Man, it sounds like a silly concept and I just wanted to watch it so I could watch Ant-Man and the Wasp which ties to Avengers: Infinity War. To my surprise I ended up loving the movie. Seriously, I knew very little about Ant-Man, I did however know that he could shrink and I didn't really think of that as a cool superpower even though I have in the past (as a kid) wanted the ability to shrink. Still, I watched it and loved it. I wish I had seen it when it was released in theaters. I did see the 3.75" Ant-Man in stores at FYE long long ago and thought it looked cool but didn't get it.

Review: Marvel Stud10s - Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) Marvel Legends First Ten Years Hulk // Hulkbuster // Ultron

Avengers: Age of Ultron got a total of three figures in The First Ten Years line, however it wasn't a three pack. Hulk vs. Hulkbuster were sold at Target for $70 as a two pack and the biggest two pack of the line, seriously, that box is heavy! Ultron could be found at two places that I know of, Best Buy and GameStop, I got mine at a GameStop for about $30. I believe it was cheaper at Best Buy but now they're on clearance so get yours now! I did like Age of Ultron, I can't believe I didn't watch it as they were coming out but c'est la vie, I didn't really care about the MCU and eventually I had lost track and forgot about it all together.

Review: Marvel Stud10s - Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - Marvel Legends The First Ten Years Ronan the Accuser

They call him Terrorist. Radical. Zealot. But his name is Ronan the Accuser and he's pretty darn awesome even though he is just a crazy Kree warrior that throws tantrums because Thanos called him a boy. He was the villain from Guardians of The Galaxy (2014) but also had a cameo in this years Captain Marvel (2019) where he has a very different uniform. He is a nice addition to the collection and it's one of the few new sculpts that aren't repaints or repackaged Build-A-Figures from previous waves. As great as this figure is, there's one big flaw that just ruins it for me.

Review: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) - Vintage Collection Rey (VC116)

This took a while, I'm trying to figure out what and how to review things. I'm not sure where to start, I also need to make myself watch Power Rangers Beast Morphers so I can review the newer merch which is amazing by the way. Anyway, this is a continuation of the previous review of Rey's Speeder (not Rey's Speeder). And honestly, I'm glad I got her, the face for this little figure is a lot better than the Black Series Rey that came out at the start of the Black Series before the wonderful face printing technology which is amazing. Plus they're on clearance everywhere at GameStops so I got two since they're 50% off the yellow sticker price. Let's get started.

Review: Captain Marvel (2019) - Marvel Legends Yon-Rogg and Captain Marvel (Airforce Colors and Airforce Jacket Versions)

So for the last batch of MCU Captain Marvel figure reviews (minus the Binary form which hasn't hit stores yet and I don't feel like paying double the price for one). And honestly, it was a really good set of figures. I would have preferred more MCU figures over Genis-Vell and Grey Gargoyle but what can you do? I still need to review Black Bolt and Namor from the Okoye Build-a-Figure wave. I haven't rewatched Captain Marvel yet but I do want to rewatch it. I will watch Shazam though. That comes out soon, this weekend? Anyway, I love Captain Marvel herself, she's such a cool character with an awesome design and Brie Larson is cute so yeah. Let's get started.
