Review: Avengers: Infinity War - Marvel Legends Falcon & Winter Soldier Two Pack (Target Exclusive)

This is the other 2-pack that was supposed to have a Stan Lee Build-a-Figure along with the Black Panther Erik Killmonger and Agent Ross Everett 2-pack I reviewed a while ago. This was pretty tough to find, I thought this would be a lot easier to find compared to the one with the unmasked Erik Killmonger... I was wrong, very wrong. I hunted for this set in person when it was on clearance but I didn't have any luck. I just kept finding more Eriks and no Bucky and Sam. I caved and got the set for $37 which was $3 less than the full price. And even then I got a faulty Sam, he had two right shoulders! I had to get another one from Ebay loose because I didn't want to buy another whole set.

As for Bucky, I love the figure but the arm is so outdated it hurts, one hand goes down properly while the metal arm is just sticking out awkwardly. The face was based off concept art so it doesn't look like he does in the movie which is a shame.
I do like the design of his outfit and the shading on the vibranium arm. Mine doesn't have a working waist swivel which sucks. The overall figure is okay.
The head looks a bit like Sebastian Stan, it's not perfect but it works. It's a repainted one that came with the Wal-Mart Winter Soldier from Captain America: Civil War.
He does come with an accessory that is meant for him. A generic futuristic rifle that doesn't look very good to be honest. His right hand is meant for this one since the trigger finger isn't separate from the others.
He holds it well and it's painted the same way as the metal arm but it doesn't look good.
As for Sam Wilson or Falcon, I love this guy. He's great and I like his suit. Anthony Mackie is also incredibly funny with Sebastian Stan.
This figure is a little out of date, it is much nicer than the original Wal-Mart release but the joints and articulation don't really hold up. Especially his really skinny arms.
He doesn't seem to skip leg day, that's good. The head looks good, it has a resemblance to Anthony Mackie. He does have updated facial hair, an ungoggled head would have been nice.
The backpack is two separate pieces. He doesn't come with Redwing so it didn't need to be two parts.
It clips on with ease, it doesn't have much paint minus the metallic red. It's nicely detailed.
The wings are essential to Falcon, the wings are mainly black, it has silver and red paint. The paint doesn't match the other red on Falcon's suit.
Putting it together is easy, you clip it on and it stays, be careful when putting the clips in because you will snap the sides of the holes if you're not careful.
The wings on Falcon are huge! Which is accurate but unfortunately they don't have much poseability or handles. Even if it did he wouldn't be able to reach for them.
You can get some pretty dynamic poses but they are kinda clunky, he doesn't come with a stand so you'd just have him with the wings standing upright if you don't already have one.
It's a nice figure to have, the downsides are mainly on the shoulders, they're so tight and restricted I hate moving them.
The good thing about the wings having 4 pegs is that if you clip them on the bigger peg you can get a little bit more range. It's risky because you risk breaking the port.
He comes with a Machine gun for some reason, it's the same one that came with Tactical Erik Killmonger.
I don't think I've seen him use a machine gun in the films. He does have his handguns and his wings are pretty handy. Some other configurations of wings would have been neat.
The gun suits Bucky a lot more so I've had it posed with him. Unfortunately his trigger finger is joined with the other three so he can't pull the trigger.
Another "accessory" is Redwing kinda, but it's really just a part of his pack. The Wal-Mart version of this figure has a full Redwing, I don't know why they didn't include him here. I really want the Figuarts version because of the unmasked head and other accessories.
It's nice to have the crew together, Sam, Bucky, and Cap. T'Challa did call bucky "White Wolf," I wonder what that's about. Regardless, a good addition for the battle in Wakanda!
