Review: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) - Vintage Collection Rey (VC116)

This took a while, I'm trying to figure out what and how to review things. I'm not sure where to start, I also need to make myself watch Power Rangers Beast Morphers so I can review the newer merch which is amazing by the way. Anyway, this is a continuation of the previous review of Rey's Speeder (not Rey's Speeder). And honestly, I'm glad I got her, the face for this little figure is a lot better than the Black Series Rey that came out at the start of the Black Series before the wonderful face printing technology which is amazing. Plus they're on clearance everywhere at GameStops so I got two since they're 50% off the yellow sticker price. Let's get started.
So Daisy Ridley is the best, and Rey is a pretty solid character in my opinion. I rewatched The Force Awakens and I like it more than the first time I watched it.

The thing about this figure in this scale is that since she has to accommodate for her Scavenger outfit she has to have gloves on which doesn't really bother me. If anything the detail at this scale is impressive. The only thing I would complain about is the lousy hip joints, if the hip joints were different this would be a pretty amazing figure.
The iconic Rey hair is nicely sculpted and the face has the slightest resemblance of Daisy.
Nothing really outstanding in terms of the face, although to be honest, it's much better than the head that came with the Island Journey Rey.
One of her accessories is her staff which she wields like a Chinese cudgel. The strap is pretty thick so having her carry it over the shoulder can be tricky.
She can hold it with no issue but the grip of the hands loosen up with time.
She fits with the other 3.75 scale figures that came out a long time ago like Unkar Plutt or the other two Scavengers.
And of course, the masked head which comes with the figure. It's easy to pop off the head and replace it. You do lose some (a lot) of articulation because of the way it's sculpted.
She has a shoulder pad which to me it seems like it's supposed to be part of the backpack like the 6" figure.
The goggles are painted brown instead of matching the robes which is inaccurate.
I think it works though which is why I got two. Getting this figure was the main reason for me to get the smaller version of the Speeder. I was surprised to find out that it could shoot a missile.
Attaching the backpack can be a pain, it uses pegs and you have to plug them in which is tricky because of the position of the pegs once they're on her back.
The backpack itself has loads of detail, it even has a nicely painted silver water bottle but that's about it. None of the buckles are painted or other details that would benefit from silver paint.
And yes! She can fit into the Speeder but trying to get her to sit properly needs to fiddling around.
The pegs fit this figure perfectly and she doesn't seem out of place.
The robes can get in the way but they're made out of soft plastic so you just have to plug her in well. She's so much better than the figure that came with the speeder. They share some similarities with the sculpt but you can tell they're different.
If you find her and don't mind paying around $5 at a GameStop I'd recommend getting her. You can also find her at Wal-Mart for full price which I don't recommend. I've been spoiled by these clearance prices it makes it hard to justify the $13 dollar price point. If you feel she's worth that then by all means. She shouldn't be too hard to find on clearance though. She's also just a reissue Black Series figure so you can find those on Ebay if you like the black boxes rather than the throwback packaging.
