Either way, this is a Wal-Mart 2 pack, it's about 39.99 in store and you can find it in the Avengers: Endgame display... that's if there are any left. Seriously, this set just flies off the shelf. I'm not sure if it's because Corvus Glaive is in the set or what but it's fairly hard to find in my area.
"Known for his shifting allegiances, Loki faces evil head on when he is confronted by the Black Order - a sinister group of Thanos' cohorts that includes the menacing Corvus Glaive."
Let's start with Loki, he's a repainted figure of one that I don't have from Thor: Ragnarok, I do like the colors and the likeness to Tom Hiddleston is very spot on, of course it isn't perfect but you can tell it's him.
The details all around are amazing and a very dark shade of black plastic. It's glossy and some hints of dark green with gold around the collar.
The cape comes off but he looks better with it. It is however a pain to put on properly, the pegs don't go in right and they don't clip into place which is a shame.
I do think however Loki's hairline is a little too high, admittedly Tom Hiddleston does have a big forehead but this is a little too large. The face also looks kind of small but still. The hair can help with keeping the cape in place but it's not a guarantee. The skirt is also a separate piece that can ride up if you're not careful, it does restrict articulation greatly but what poses will Loki really need to get into?
He is a nice addition and I like the darkened color scheme compared to the first release, he doesn't come with any additional accessories though. He doesn't have the crown that he had before and he doesn't have daggers which is a huge downer. He will fit in along with your other Marvel Legends to recreate some scenes from the beginning of the film... and not much else.
His included accessory is the Tesseract which he took while he was fleeing Asgard Thor: Ragnarok.
It's a translucent blue plastic cube that can balance on the tips of his fingers. You could also fiddle around with it since the fingers are thin, he can get a better grasp of the Tesseract.
You can use it not only with Loki but Red Skill and even Thanos.
As for Corvus Glaive, he looks amazing, he's the figure I had been waiting for the most besides Ebony Maw. Seriously, look at all that detail throughout his costume.
Even though the color scheme is pretty basic he has a lot of gold detailing throughout. He has a shiny black look to him. The cloth pieces can be restrictive however but even in a vanilla pose he's really threatening.
I don't like his knees however, and he does have a problem, the same one Midnight Proxima has, only one of his hands can hold the blade. And for him, it's the left hand.
The face looks threatening, he has a thinner more sharp looking face than he did in the movie. Not exact but it works. I think I prefer this look over the CG model in the film.
His two sided spear which is called a Glaive is very detailed. It has a grey finish on the handle and a gold/copper blade at the ends. It looks great.
He's also very tall, and almost as tall as Midnight Proxima, they look great together.
I'm very glad to have these two figures. As amazing as Corvus Glaive is I don't like the cape, it's very clunky and hard to pose with. Seriously, trying to get him in a lower stance than standing tall is hard due to the length of the cape.
His left arm is very restricted due to the detailing of his robe, and it's especially unfortunate because that's his holding hand!
Having him with the rest of the Black Order and Thanos does complete the whole aesthetic.
If you can find him for a decent price I highly recommend him.
It sucks that he's really hard to find. I've been having trouble finding them recently, I did get lucky when I got this set. I had looked at 3 different Wal-Marts and they had it on my third attempt. I saw this set again about a week and a half ago and have never seen it since. I looked at about 7 different Wal-Marts within a 30 mile radius.
I did use Brickseek although that shows mixed results. I still recommend looking through google but if you don't have to spend 3rd party prices, don't. Good luck finding this in the wild.
