Review: Godzilla (2014) - NECA Godzilla (2014) 12" Head to Tail

It's 5/31 and unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to watch Godzilla: King of the Monsters yet. I'm probably get around to getting it this weekend hopefully. It's been so busy and with so many things going on all the time I completely forgot I was gonna watch it on the 30th (Thursday night) and I need to wake up early for Saturday so I didn't want to watch it because I'd get home late. I did watch Godzilla (2014) in theaters when it came out, not the day of but eventually. I was in class and one of my classmates spoiled something after I had explicitly told them "no spoilers pls" but c'est la vie. I loved it and I was very excited and a little nervous because of Godzilla (1998) but this looked promising and they wouldn't mess it up a second time right? Well, thankfully they didn't!

Review: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Legacy Collection White Ranger

The White Ranger is another one of those very incredibly popular Rangers and of course this is also Tommy's suit in season 2 and 3 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The suit never really fit in with the other suits for some reason, but I did get used to it. There's a lot to say about this costume especially with the sixth Ranger trends that it followed. I also got this figure for $5 at a closing Wal-Mart from about... 2 years ago? There's very few issues I have with this figure honestly.

Review: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Legacy Collection Green Ranger

Euya! So the Green Ranger is probably one of the coolest and most iconic designs in Power Rangers. Even in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger he was the first official Sixth Ranger that was added to a team and it started a trend. Kibaranger and King Ranger or the White and Gold Ranger had the basic design aesthetic of a Sixth Ranger which was the slight variation of the team suit with armor. This figure doesn't have a piece for the Megazord which is a shame, he could have included a shield or the Power Sword but he's still a nice figure.

Review: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Legacy Collection Build-A-Megazord Dino Megazord // Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, Pink Rangers

Collector figures aren't anything new to the Power Rangers series, however this was quite the treat when they came out. This was the most articulated and affordable figures to come out for the Power Rangers series. S.H. Figuarts were out in Japan and those were premium figures, about $40+ per figure if you were lucky. The best we had in the early 2010s were the Armored Might figures, which for about $16 you got a very articulated Ranger and a bunch of accessories but they only made a couple characters for that one unfortunately. It had a lot of potential, the downside to those were that they were very beefed up, incredibly muscular which wasn't accurate to the show. Eventually the Legacy Collection 6.5" figures were released and they were incredible! They were going to be released in waves, not entire teams at once. So the MMPR and Ninja Storm Rangers released first. Red, Blue, and Yellow for Ninja Storm, and Red and Green for Mighty Morphin. I passed on these and boy did I regret that later. I bought the White Ranger and Yellow along with Ninja Storm Yellow and Blue when a Wal-Mart near me closed down so they were $5 a piece. After that I needed to have the rest. I eventually completed the MMPR team about 2 years after Wal-Mart closed and I got the movie figures once Toys R Us closed. Let's get to the review!

Reviews: Avengers: Infinity War/Endgame - Marvel Legends Ebony Maw and Thanos (Build-a-Figure)

For the most part, the Endgame Marvel Legends waves have been okay, there are some places that already have wave 2! It would have been much better if more MCU figures were part of the waves but what can you do? Ronin, Captain America, and Ebony Maw were half of the wave and Cap didn't even come with a piece. You got 4 other comic figures with this wave which were also kind of okay but left you wishing for more. I still want to see Avengers: Endgame again before it leaves theaters and their version of the Avengers theme is amazing, especially when you watch that scene.

Review: Avengers: Endgame - Target Exclusive Marvel Legends Quantum Suit Hawkeye and Black Widow 2-Pack

There was a leak for more Quantum Suit figures in Marvel Legends form. Initially I just thought it'd be Captain America but then these showed up. It was a Target Exclusive 2-pack of Hawkeye and Black Widow with their new hairdos. Eventually this was available through a placeholder page on the Target website. Prior to the release I had been looking at various different Targets in New Jersey and
Pennsylvania. The Marvel Legends group that I'm a part of on facebook posted that they were available about an hour before I saw the post and I was happy to see that there were two in stock in a Target near my house so I jumped on it ASAP. I went to pick it up, they told me that people were looking for these all day and they didn't know they'd be available for pickup. Then I had to get a set of 4 new tires... that was fun.

Review: Shazam! (2019) - DC Multiverse Shazam and Dr. Sivana

Sorry this took much much longer than I wanted it to, I did watch Shazam but just so I could review the figures. I watched it pretty much the week it came out. And I went in with extremely low expectations. This was after watching Aquaman (I have quite the story on that one) and I just wasn't too keen on the DC Extended Universe. I thought this was going to be lame and it would try way too hard in trying to be funny and, I was surprised, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I got really excited in so many parts. I loved it, I thought it would be completely overshadowed by the other Captain Marvel and I was wrong. I loved both although if I had to pick one I'd have a hard time choosing. I'd probably pick Captain Marvel in the end though.

Review: Avengers: Endgame (2019) - Marvel Legends Ronin and Captain America (Quantum Suit)

I watched Avengers: Endgame as soon as it came out for the early release on Thursday Night. I had to go to Washington D.C. for the weekend and I wouldn't be able to watch it when in D.C. so I needed to watch it as soon as possible! The earliest viewing I'd be able to go to would be the 11 PM showing, I left work at 9:15 and got home around 9.46 and got to the theater at 10:30. There was a very long line starting from the Highway onto the parking lot of the theater. Took a while to get parking but I eventually found some. I got home at 3 AM and it was totally worth it! As for these two versions of the characters, I saw them way before the movie came out because of the concept art leaks. The Quantum suits and Ronin had been out for a while, I initially thought that the suits were just for the toys so they'd make an extra profit, you know make people buy more versions of the characters and they wouldn't be in the movie, kind of like Hasbro does with the Power Rangers figures. Let's get to the review, also Endgame is amazing you should go watch it, I've watched it three times already!

Review: Marvel Stud10s - Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - Marvel Legends The First Ten Years Iron Man Mark L // Doctor Strange // Thanos

Avengers: Infinity War is such an amazing movie especially with the buildup from the past 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the sequel as well, Avengers: Endgame. As a commemoration for the 10 years of the MCU, Hasbro released a wave of figures based on the films. Not every film of course but 10 of the 20+ movies from the lineup. This set doesn't have new figures but they're repainted, retooled and they look so much better than their previous incarnations.

Review: Avengers: Infinity War - Marvel Legends Black Widow // Thor // Cull Obsidian Build-a-Figure

Finishing up the Cull Obsidian wave with Black Widow, Thor, and Cull Obsidian (I will look into the comic figures at some point) and I love Thor the most because his articulation is the least restrictive... which the cape can restrict in certain poses. These last two figures I got from Amazon because I couldn't find them in person. Black Widow wasn't much, 19.99 with free shipping, Thor on the other hand, I saw him for 19.99 but didn't jump on it fast enough so I ended up having to buy him for 28.99 and then a couple hours later he was back down to 19.99 which was a shame. Then about 2 weeks later, the entire Cull Obsidian wave showed up at Wal-Mart along with the Armored Thanos wave which was a little upsetting but what can you do?

Review: Avengers: Infinity War - Scarlet Witch & Vision Toys R Us Exclusive 2-pack

Toys R Us closed almost a year ago and I never got a chance to see this in stores. I did see it on Amazon for about $63 months ago but I didn't buy it. Eventually I had to get this so I searched on eBay and  the cheapest one was $99 so I did... by accident. So now I have this and I only paid twice the amount the retail price. Oh and there's a couple things that annoy me about this particular pair that I have, let's get to it.
