Review: Avengers: Endgame - Marvel Legends Iron Patriot/War Machine Mark 006 (Endgame Thor Wave)

Finally we have a proper War Machine, or more accurately, Iron Patriot. I do wish they had released the Mark 004 and Mark 006 (even the 005 would have been nice) but it's okay. This one appeared at the very end of the film once Ant-Man escapes from the rubble along with Hulk, Rocket, and Rhodey. While this character was previously released in the second Endgame wave (Smark Hulk), it wasn't accurate to the film, it was based on concept art for War Machine. It does use some pieces but for the most part it's pretty new. Let's get to it!

Review: Avengers: Endgame (2019) - Marvel Legends Valkyrie (Endgame Thor Wave)

Time for another newer figure! This one for a character that appeared in the film and one that wasn't a re-use from another figure. It's Valkyrie which is something that was previously released as a character but not a figure. She appeared as a part of the Ragnarok 2-pack with her Sakaaran scavenger gear, unfortunately she wasn't released in this uniform which is a shame but we finally get one! I just wish she came with two heads... more on that later. Also, technically her name is Brunnhilde, and she is a Valkyrie, so this is her Valkyrie uniform.

Review: Thor: Ragnarok (2017)/Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - Marvel Legends Heimdall (Endgame Thor Wave)

Heimdall is a pretty cool character and Marvel Legends needed to have him in figure form since the first Thor movie came out. It's a shame it took this long for this character to get a figure, what is funny to me is that Hofund, his sword, was in Marvel Legends scale before this figure debuted. We'll get to that in a little bit. This figure is based on his appearance in Thor: Ragnarok, it doesn't matter what the box says since the only bit of him we see of him in Avengers: Infinity War is where he uses the Bifrost to send the Hulk back to earth, and then he is impaled by Thanos. He's one of the few newer figures, one that should have been with previous releases. I would have honestly favored him over the Grandmaster in the Ragnarok 2-pack with Korg. This slot could have gone to someone else.

Review: Captain America: Civil War (2016) - Marvel Legends (Phasing) Vision (Endgame Thor Wave)

This is another figure we didn't really need. However for those who missed out on the Toys R Us exclusive 2-pack with Vision and Scarlet Witch this is a good way to get him. He is different than that one and I'll get into that later. This would have been a much better spot for so many other figures in the movie especially those with Endgame specific looks and to use that slot for a figure that didn't even appear in the film... is eh. Let's get to it!

Review: Avengers: Endgame (2019) /Avengers (2012) - Marvel Legends Captain America (Endgame Thor BAF)

I've had this set since mid-October and I've had a bit of a burnout considering how many other things I've been doing. I work 6 days a week and almost all day and don't get home until late at night. My weekends are also busy, thankfully I found some time this past weekend to move some stuff around and I also took some pictures of the newest wave from the Avengers: Endgame (2019) figures. Since they're a nice variety of characters than can represent a lot of different movies I'll do them separately this time around. The first of the bunch (which is an all MCU wave) being this Captain America from his appearance in the first Avengers film (which I can rewatch since I have access to Disney+) or where they go back in time to get the stones and future Cap fights younger Cap for Loki's staff. I have a couple problems with this figure... and I kinda like it for some weird strange reason.

Review: Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - Walgreens Exclusive Dragon Shield (Armored) Black Ranger Lightning Collection Hasbro

The Walgreens Exclusive Black Ranger! This recently started showing up in the U.S. but has been out overseas for a couple months now. I got mine a while ago through Comics & Cocktails, based in the UK. I got him and the Psycho Blue at about 20 pounds each plus 20 shipping... however! I didn't realize it was going to be in pounds so I paid about $80 USD. Yeah... well I was pretty happy with the one I received and it's nice to have this all american figure since it's based on Zack from the season finale of the first season, "An Oyster Stew." That used footage that is referred to as "Zyu2" footage since it was MMPR Original footage but instead of being recorded in the U.S., it was recorded by Toei in Japan which explains the quality of the footage and suits, especially the armor. Personally I haven't seen this figure in person yet so I'll probably pick one up if I see another.
