Review: Power Rangers Ninja Steel - DX Rumble Tusk Megazord

Rumble Tusk Megazord! Which appeared in the same episode as the Mega Morph Cycle! And in toy form, it shows up as a repaint of most of the main mecha minus Robo Red Zord. I saw these in Walmart but I didn't get it so I had to pay a little extra... unfortunately but either way, I like it more than I probably should since it's a repaint and it's missing some parts. Not the sellers fault, it's actually supposed to not have them for some weird reason... Let's check it out.

Right off the bat you see the main color scheme, orange and green. Some silver and gold here and there but the main scheme is the two colors and honestly, when it's apart it doesn't look very good. The one that's missing parts is the Dragonzord, it's missing the wings and tail.
It doesn't look terrible, but it doesn't look great either. Especially since it's missing the two things that make it a Dragon! They could have easily gotten away with a remold and made it something else much like the ones from Dino Charge.
The wings still plug in but it doesn't look right. I don't know much about matching colors but this doesn't work in my opinion.
Nitro Zord looks... eh? Again, the colors don't really go well together. the gold looks weird.
Zoom Zord looks neat I guess, needs more consistency.
The back follows the same color scheme, which isn't great but still.
Kodiak Zord is in gray plastic, and the "bone" isn't gold, it's left unpainted.
As for the main event! Rumble Tusk Zord looks great!
It's nicely detailed all around, missing a couple paint apps here and there but looks good. The legs in the back are kind of weird since the handles don't hide well.
It's obviously different than the 5" Armored Figure. The head looks about the same but far bigger. The ears are molded in a softer plastic.
It also fits fairly well with the 5" villains, although it might be too large.
It also transforms into a little man! With cannons! And the Ninja Power Star is also a part of the 'Lephant. My Rumble Tusk Zord has a loose head so it doesn't stay up and he has a tendency to look up. The cannons are also huge!
You can also see the hands molded in the ears and they don't move around due to the transformation.
It looks very different from the 5" Figure and I guess that's cool. I can't decide which one I like more. (Probably the 5" Figure despite it not being show accurate)
It's also about the same height of Robo Red Zord, since he also sits on the throne.
The Helmet is nicely detailed with some traces of gold and silver. Nothing especial, it missing apps...
The scale is pretty good transformed so it fits with the villains.
The other 4 Zords can combine together to form the Ninja Steel Megazord and it doesn't look terrible.
Also to a main event! All you have to do is sit the Rumble Tusk Zord in the throne.
And it looks really good! Which is surprising since the dark green colors and orange and random silver doesn't looks great but the light green of the Rumble Tusk makes it bearable.
All of the parts are used so you can display the Rumble Tusk alongside your Ninja Steel Megazord.
It also goes with the regular one, and to make it show accurate we have to move around some things.
You put the Nitro Zord arm in the back and Robo Red turns into a left arm. He's back heavy so he topples over really easily without Rumble Tusk.
And now to combine! Rumble Tusk Megazord!
And now it's show accurate!
It's probably my favorite mode from the show and I like the double axes! I wish the wings and sword were used in this combination though.
Although it does look good in this mode, I like displaying the two side by side so I don't mind a couple extra repainted zords.
If you can find it, I recommend it, it's a nice addition to your Ninja Steel collection and you don't have to buy an extra Megazord (although you kind of do that with this but it's the same price?) Much like the regular Megazord, it wont go together with your 5" villains but there's alternatives...
