Review: Black Panther (2018) - Marvel Legends T'Chaka and Civil War Black Panther

The second wave of the Marvel Legends Black Panther figures from the movie were ones that I was extremely excited about. I was just looking online for who-knows-what and I saw the prototypes of all of the wave. There was also a silhouette of Shuri who is not part of the wave unfortunately. Maybe hopefully she'll be released later on in the year. I am however excited to have the King of Wakanda, King T'Chaka and his son, T'Challa. What I'm not so excited about is the outdated body that they used and the fact that T'Chaka is just a retool of an outdated mold.

Review: Black Panther - Marvel Legends Everett Ross & Erik Killmonger (2 Pack)

So, this version of Erik Killmonger with the Michael B. Jordan head was one of the figures I had been anticipating the most! I saw the prototype on forums online, something about a Stan Lee build-a-figure and what not, and I instantly fell in love with it since I love the movie. This and the Falcon and Winter Soldier 2 pack that I'm still struggling to find would come with the pieces to assemble Stan Lee. That was cancelled and now the two sets don't come with BAF pieces. This was originally $39.99 and for two figures that are usually prices at 19.99 each, I guess it's fair. I paid full price thinking that this would be a set that would be hard to obtain... boy was I wrong. Falcon and Winter Soldier are the ones that are hard to find. I had to go to New York (I live in the New Jersey) to find them at two different Targets to see if I could find it and nothing! Meanwhile, this set is on clearance for less than $20! So we'll see if I can finally get Bucky and Sam.

Review: Black Panther - Marvel Legends Nakia and Okoye Build-a-Figure

I'm going to skip Namor and Black Bolt since I just want to review the Cinematic Universe stuff first and then I'll go back at some point I promise. Nakia was the last of the figures that I needed way back when. I searched all over the place. At one point I saw her at a Target and passed only to find out that they didn't have her anymore and I had to resort to paying 4 extra dollars at GameStop to complete Okoye. I finished the line after watching Black Panther and that made me want to finish Okoye. At this point I was okay with not having a Dora Milaje Army which I have now. Let's get into the review!

Review: Black Panther - Marvel Legends Black Panther and Erik Killmonger (Okoye Build-A-Figure)

One of the most recent waves that has been showing up at GameStops this month is the M'Baku Build-a-Figure wave with all MCU versions of characters from Black Panther which was one of the first MCU movies that I watched in theaters while it was still out. I paid about $5 total for myself and my family! AMC Stubs rewards can be convenient, although I haven't been going to AMC enough to have a lot of rewards lately. Around that time, I only had a single Marvel Legends figure and that was Pizza Spider-Man since it looked cool, awesome articulation and many accessories! At that point I only had a couple Figuarts and they're expensive and I wanted a good Spider-Man figure. However! I had heard that Hasbro bought the rights for Power Rangers and they would eventually make the toys. And in order to see if these were up to par to the 5" figures and the Legacy Collection ones I got two figures. Black Panther and Erik Killmonger. This was before I saw the movie so I thought that Erik was just an "evil" version of the Black Panther... boy was I wrong. Anyway, I love the movie and these figures are pretty awesome so let's take a look.

Review: Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Elite Series Die Cast R2-D2 and C-3PO

With the new year new stuff comes by but when you're on a budget or are just really bad at spending, you get older stuff such as the Elite Series R2-D2 and C-3PO which were on clearance with a little extra off since they had a red sticker. These were part of The Last Jedi set of figures that look really cool on a checklist that came with them, but don't really look that cool. The ones from the checklist are renders of the characters but the actual product look nothing like that. I watched Episode IV in full recently with my family and we enjoyed the movie but my mom fell asleep. Having recently watched that, I saw R2 on clearance before but no trace of 3PO so I just waited until I saw both. That time was this past Friday! I got both for $15.99 along with two The Black Series Rebel Fleet Troopers. They're very nice but there's a couple things I can nitpick.
