Review: Power Rangers Ninja Steel - Armored Red, Blue, and White Ranger

After the Megazord is formed, the rangers take out their Ninja Master Power Stars to get into the newest of the Cockpit modes. The Cockpit modes started back in Power Rangers Samurai and continued in Dino Charge. Megaforce and Super Megaforce used regular Sentai Footage. As of now, Cockpit modes are just for the cockpit. They're also another way to make money off of fans like me who will buy anything that appears on the show, another one of which I'll review soon. This particular toy is just in the Armored line along with the Robo-Red Zord and Dragon Zord. The main gimmick of the line is just snap on armor, and 5" figures with action features. As of now, Red, Blue, and White have been released. There are prototypes of the others but they haven't been released, this is also the case with the Ninja Training Mode Figures. Either way, I liked these much more than I expected and with Toys R Us closing I took advantage of the sales and bought these, White was about $6 but Red and Blue were on "AUG" which meant that they weren't part of the "Toys R Us Catalog" so they were $20 instead of the $15. They cost me about 10 a piece... It's fine I guess...

Review: Mighty Morphing Bootleg Rangers - Super Ninja Force Pack

*edit* This was originally scheduled for the end of the month but I've been so busy this week and as of late that I didn't have time to write another review...
These new Legacy Collection Ninja Steel figures are amazing! Just kidding, here are the Super Ninja Force Figures which are based off of (Super) Ninja Steel Rangers or Ninningers. There's the set of 5 Rangers for the low price of $10! Which is $40-$50 less than the Mighty Hero Set or the Epic Hero Set which comes with 5 Rangers, 1 villain and the morpher in two modes. Either way, here you get all five and they're cheap, they come with pretty much the same amount of accessories. I've wanted to get this pack for a while and I thought it came with a role-play weapon and further research shows that these do come in separate packs AND in another set of 4 that comes with a bike (that Chrysti Ane commented on). These are made and or distributed by JPW International or OKK Trading, I wanted to make an account but I need a business licence in order to sign up.

Review: Shuriken Sentai Ninninger - Candy Toy Fighting Action Robo Shurikenjin

Even though I wish they had a 5" Ninja Steel Megazord, Fighting Action Robo Shurikenjin fits the description quite well! Quite honestly, it's well articulated, even more than one of the best Retrofire Megazords that have come out. Shurikenjin first appeared in the first episode of Ninninger after defeating Kamaitachi and fighting with the individual Mecha. In Ninja Steel, it doesn't appear until episode 3. Getting this was interesting, I tried looking on Ebay and I couldn't find it so I resorted to getting it from Yahoo.jp via proxy. I chose Buyee and it was expensive, the fees and shipping on top made this easily $40+... Still, it was kind of worth it.

Review: Power Ranger (Super) Ninja Steel - Deluxe Ninja Steel Megazord

I thought I had already written this one out and had it ready to be published earlier today but it seems I was wrong! What is weird is that the megazord itself doesn't appear until episode 3. Episode 1 just had Red, Blue and Pink rangers with original footage. Episode two just used the first part of episode 1 of Ninninger. It used to Zord fight with an awkward edit to destroy Ripperat, and it used the rest of the episode for Trapsaw in episode 10 (?). And in episode 3 after destroying Spinferno, Cosmo sends out a Skullgator for the rangers to fight. They initially fight them with their zord but are unsuccessful so they combine their zords to create the Megazord!

Review: Shuriken Sentai Ninninger - Gashapon Otomonin (Shinobimaru, Dragonmaru, Dumpmaru, Byunmaru, Wanmaru)

Since I've been reviewing a lot of Ninja Steel stuff, and I've been really into the Ninninger stuff as well (I didn't watch it when it came out, I just finished it last summer) and I really like the designs. I like the Mecha, the suits and the show. Since the Otomonin where a big part of the show, I wanted to get a better representation of it to display. I also have a couple more Ninninger stuff on the way. When I saw images of these I thought it was way too late to get them. There were listings for $40 for the 5 otomonin but I found one for $20 from Hong Kong. I was skeptical but thankfully, they were legit, or at least they look and feel legit. I am glad I got them. These are Gashapon figures which are sold in Japan. They're in capsules that you get from the Gashapon machine! But they're so nice! These didn't come with the capsule but it's not like I needed it anyway... B-baka!

Birthday Quickie! - Power Rangers Dino Charge - DecoPac T-Rex Zord Cake Topper Set

So today I turn 21! And to celebrate that, I'm writing this post about a gift I got from my family (mainly my brother) when I turned 18 (I think) back when Dino Charge was out at 12:40 am. I didn't watch the show since I wanted to catch up with Super Megaforce but I did watch Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger!

Review - Power Rangers Ninja Steel - Villain Skullgator

After Spinferno's defeat, he didn't get much of a cheer from Galaxy Warriors audience so he didn't "Gigantify!" Instead Cosmo released the first Skullgator! This isn't any kind of monster, this is a GIANT monster. Already Megazord size and ready to kick ranger butt! In Ninninger this was a Kyodai Yokai Gashadokuro (巨大妖怪ガシャドクロ) or a Giant Yokai "Starving Skeleton." Gashadokuro are really interesting to me, I love the artwork and they always look very creepy in the paintings. And since I have a thing for miniatures and things that tower over everything else, I like the giant Skeleton art. The design for this particular monster is very edgy, and I mean that in a good way, if I had seen this design without knowing the Sentai roots, I wouldn't have known it was in Ninninger because of the "dark" design. I also... got two of these... for reasons! I was very excited to get this and there are a couple things I want to talk about regarding the prototype.

Review: Power Rangers Ninja Steel - Spinferno (Legacy Collection Good vs. Evil: Yellow Ranger vs. Spinferno)

Spinferno was supposed to get a standard release but it didn't and ended up with Calvin the Yellow Ranger in a two pack for Good vs. Evil so now I have an extra Yellow Ranger. Spinferno was from episode 3, in which Brody loses his Datacom, Victor and Monty find it and try to fight Spinferno with it and fail and the Datacom gets damaged during the fight. The rangers fight together afterwards, Calvin races Spinferno in order to trap him afterwards. They destroy him but he doesn't grow since he didn't get enough cheer so instead Skullgators are sent. He also appears in the Halloween special along with Trapsaw. In Ninninger, Yokai Kasha (妖怪カシャ) was created from a pair of roller-skates, In that episode Nagi is the focus where he needs to apply the skills rather than just study. When they fight Yokai Kasha, Gabi Raizo intervenes and destroys him (which is why he doesn't grow). He does appear later on as a part of a midterm final which was a VR fight against him.
